The article on the Intel arcade machines (basically a PC in a box) is old news. They announced that last year.

3dfx ALREADY has arcade machines out there that use custom 3dfx card (NFL Blitz and San Fransico RUSH). And I expect 3dfx to stay ahead of the technolgy curve on that front too. But compared to the general PC gaming market, the revenues streams from the arcade are peanuts.

I wouldn't be surprised is the 5 millionth 3dfx
Voodoo card will be sold soon. 4-5 million Voodoo cards! Now that's a platform in itself.
