Jeff, I read your reply #1141 and I was further astounded at your apparent lack of understanding about the financial markets. On May 7, 1998, AMERICAN BIOMED announced via press release the equity line of credit. THAT IS A PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF PREFERRED SHARES. If you need other examples to understand the concept of press release disclosure of private placements I'll provide them to you.
