There is reason.

Norway cannot get to the semi finals at the expense of Germany, as neither can possibly meet each other before then. Both could feasibly be in the semis.

However, if England and Germany win their groups, and win their second round games, they will automatically meet each other in the quarter finals. England will beat Germany, this time, after several high profile recent attempts. That is why Germany will sadly not advance to the semis.

Norway are strong. Most of their players play in the English Premiership, thus playing in a higher standard league than the Scottish players. If they win their second round game vs Chile, they will most likely meet France in the quarter-finals. The French don't have a proven striker, but Norway have Flo (Chelsea) and Solskjaer (Manchester United). My vote is with Norway...
