Hoffy, A nasdaq listing was probably a pipe dream for this company up until they signed some major contracts and were able to get the stock above $4.00 / share. They are there now and don't want to lose this opportunity. They can buy back their shares maintaining a higher stock price and get that coveted nasdaq listing. There are many other reasons to buy back their stock this is just one of them.
