Yea I'll agree with that. Just like when COMS dropped, you saw the highest volume at the bottom (longs unloading) you will see shorts panic buying to cover on high volume right before the next top.

Yes, you have the basic idea. It's basically a war between
the shorts on longs. Like any war, it depends on who's got
more fire power and courage...

Options give you sometimes give you clues to how the
battle is progressing,etc...
