TEXN production facility is a sprawling 15,000 SF building consisting of several automated CNC machines. The production process is fully computerized.

The process is essentially a four step process.First the chunk of steel is cut up into small blocks of sights. After that the shaping machines shapes the chopped up sights . The finishing machines then gives it a blued finish.

Then the final step is to incorporate the radioactive tritium isotope (that glows in the night) to the sight.

I found out today that the production facility is not running at full throttle and has plenty of room to grow to keep up with any future increase in demand.

Apparently the steel is not fed at the optimum rate now. The fellow who is in charge of production told me "Ravi we can increase production at will by feeding the steel at a much faster rate to the automated machines".

This is potentially very good news.He would not tell me what is the current rate of production or what is the maximum they can produce per month.

My guess is the current monthly production is about 10,000 PT Night Sights which could be easily doubled without much effort.

Keep the faith folks. Slow and steady wins the race.
