I agree.COMS "is not your father's Oldsmobile".Ciso buys companies for technology,Ascend buys and assembles other companies technology,Coms CREATES technology. I have a strong feeling that Benhamou is sly as a fox and will end of being the "Quiet Communicator"(lost that article).His goal is convergence with simplicity,dominate the edge and any gain at the highend is Cisco's loss,he might not eat their lunch but he'll steal some deseart.

I don't know about Semens but Coms sure does have something cooking. My source seems to think Coms is going to buy Bay. The combination of the now 2nd and 3rd largest networkers will, after one year, result in the 4th largest network company in the world. The combined company will be called 3BOMS (short for Three Duds).
