<<When Sprint runs fiber to everyone's doorstep maybe >>

How interesting....I had an engineer for Houston Lighting & Power tell me today that they could only consent to a 3 feet and not 3 feet 4 inch encroachment into a 16' utility easement (for the pool I'm trying to get built) precisely because of the risk that everyone might start running all of their own fiber cables through the UE..... he was more optimistic though: he rattled off MCI, Sprint, AT&T, and a couple others I had never heard of...made it sound as though they'd all be out next week

It may not make it to my front door, but to here him tell it, it will be covering my back yard...(wonder if they'll leave some extra lying around to light my pool with)
