IBM doesn't have that kind of time to interview individuals for such a pressing situation as y2k. I work for a major corporation in the U.S. and we obtain temp. employees through Staffinders. Call em up, they send someone over. It is very dificult to get in to a major corporation these days. They worry about running their business, not so much hiring their own employees. Hence the new wave of temp. companies.

regards,

Bob

TrumpCards, As an computer consultant, I can confirm that many large corporations prefer to hire technical expertise on contract thru companies such as INFE. It is easier to hire on contract for temporary positions (anywhere from 3 months to 2 years) than to hire employees that require training, benefits etc...

Peace

Riccardo

Mr. Cards, You continue to amaze me with your lack of knowledge. There are only so many Y2K 'experts' and they have all got jobs. Y2K solutions people need to be picked and trained from a group of people with the proper skill sets.
