Dave, When I refered to numbers I just meant GSM/TDMA vs CDMA in general. I wasn't comparing Nokia vs Qcom. As far as standards go for this 3-g thing I'm in the camp that thinks there may be multiple standards just as we have now. I'm also in the camp that's not trying to sort it out who will be the winner and have chose a few of the best companies to own and also a few wild cards. I've chosen Nokia,Ericy,Qcom, and Lucent. My two wild cards are Powerwave and Interdigital Communications. There are some that think TDMA is dead but Alcatel has just given up the patent suit they had against IDC and has joined the Consortium of Siemens/Samsung/Idc to develop B-CDMA. Since that favorable decision Kyocera/Sharp/Toshiba in the last month have given them a combined 48 million in licensing revenues for TDMA/GSM/PHS etc. At 6+ I think they are priced as a life time option that won't expire. I have now seen w-cdma,b-cdma,ss-cdma,a-cdma etc. It's like a bowl of alphabet soup. Seems like every time you take a spoonful you must look to see if any of your letters are involved but like Tero says it makes the game a little more interesting.

Regards
Jim
