Sean, give me a break<g>. You don't need to introduce yourself;
I'll give you one:

Folks, beebop over to the TA threads, such as Quotes Plus,
where Sean is a major contributor, if you want examples.
We should be so fortunate as to have
a fraction of his knowledge posted here.

Welcome, Sean. Looking forward to your contributions.

Regards,

Spots

Introductions

Let me join the crowd and welcome you to the thread.

I probably should clarify my own experience. I appreciated Spot's kind words but I do not place myself in the same category as Networm, Dave, Spots and others.

I am a surveyor specializing in high tech surveying and hydrographic surveying. I have been a principal in the implementation of computer technology within my own work environment. I am in front of a computer 8 hrs a day be it in the office or the boat (8 yrs). I then spend another 5 hrs on the Internet from my home computer setups. I consider myself an end user.

I maintain about 12 workstations, mostly DOS although recently the mix has moved towards Win95 with NT on the horizon. Applications are primarily CAD and data collecting/processing/presenting. In the home mix I prefer graphics and multimedia applications although the Internet has taken a dominate role recently ( no time for TV anymore)

My experience is IBM PC and clones.

Street Walker, do not under estimate your fine contributions to the thread.
