>>> Asians angry at foreign control of their economies following the current regional financial crisis could retaliate against foreign capitalists, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said on
Thursday.<<<
BT - You know , what's really striking about this entire Asian mess is how it's all due to corruption and inept leadership by the ruling elites.
In Japan , Indonesia , Malaysia and elsewhere , the crisis is the result of the crooks who run the respective countries. Wouldn't it be nice if you could just replace the bums with someone honest and capable , who was genuinely interested in effective , democratic government that was a fair deal for everyone? Then repatriate all the stolen money , and everything would be just fine.
