I have a couple of things to say. First of all, there has been a rumor that Cisco wanted to buy Ciena, but they got beat to it by Tellabs. Although this might be true, I think that Cisco was happy with its partnership. I wouldn't doubt that Cisco might have been looking into a possible purchase of Ciena. But, remember how Chambers always analyzes several aspects of a company and the company must adhere to certain criteria before it would be purchased. Ciena, right off the bat, isn't located anywhere near Cisco or any Cisco affiliates that I know of (it is in MD). Any comments?

Secondly, I have to mention the BAY thread and its pitiful state. It seems as though their only hope of making money is to be purchased. I am sorry, but that is sad. Now I almost feel sorry for Stockboy's and his position. I do feel sorry for him, though, as it seems his parents dropped him on his bloated head a few too many times as a child <gg>.
