s&p futures are almost even now. end of the day was heading higher. recently coms opens higher, than sells off. mot is a known and habitual warner, thus the stock has suffered. i will agree with joe, the end of the day and mot does not suggest a down opening. i doubt we shall see profit taking, since that occurred mid-day today. i assume an up opening, based on end of day (rising price), s&p almost even, coms will not pre-announce, networking sector takeover speculation, i will call joe at 7:30est so he again to monitor coms volume to ensure an up day. p.s. i will not post your number joe as you requested.

I just made the 50,000 number up. I don't know exactly how many shares actually traded at the ask in the last hour of trading. I can tell you it was a lot. Its probably 75% of the shares that traded between 1500 and 1600. My theory is that whoever was selling at $26 1/2 knew what they are doing and that they will make money by doing it. I figure they know that today would open weaker and they could buy back their positions at a lower price. If it was MMs trading for their own accounts they could have been shorting at the ask, anticipating that they could cover the next morning at a lower price.
