I think mot basically let itself fallen behind from the leading edge of technologies. Its technology is still basically analog based and businesses were being taken away by Nokia, Lu and others. There execution must also be very poor - just look at their huge modem business just went down the drain. Semiconductors are also still at very bad shape right now thus affecting mot. But the Semiconductor Industry Association has it that semiconductors will enjoy 20 plus % growth in 1999 and beyond. No doubt it will have a negative effect on hi-techs tomorrow but I think more important is the employment number tomorrow. Mang
