PFE Howmedica bid news: biz.yahoo.com Wouldn't be a bad fit. Is that why they are divesting their $300 MM pacemaker division, so as to raise capitol to make a bid for PFE's division? Does that make sense? Does sulzer have enough capitol? I was hoping PFE would spinoff their med tech division to shareholders , but if they get a rich enough bid, and my shares go up, I'd still be happy. Hey maybe there might be a bidding war for PFE's unit, then I'd be very happy cuz not only will they get a nice fat offer, but then they can focus on their key growth area - blockbuster pharmaceuticals in CNS, heart, urology, and anti-allergy markets.
