Watching a movie of the outside of the engine would only be entertainment. It is measurements of temperatures, pressures, speed, torque and fuel consumed for an engine isolated from its starting system that demonstrates usefulness. There are 8 piston(s) (plates?), with one or two rings each, 2 cruciforms, one head/shaft assembly and I would hope 8 cam followers to reduce the friction. The pistons have to move back and forth to induct, compress, expand and exhaust. Am I wrong? 246810
