In April 1,487 shares were sold by 2 insiders.

In March 1,265 shares were sold.

Less than 3,000 shares in 2 months doesn't sound like an insider sell off to me. Insiders still hold over 4,000,000 shares. They know a lot more than we can wish about the companies future. If they thought that Vivus was going down the tubes then I would expect them to sell a few more shares than that. So much for internet rumors.
