Speaking of activists, the July/August '98 Issue of Personal Watercraft Magazine did an article on MTBE. Haven't had a chance to read it in full but I think a huge problem with MTBE is when it is used in 2 and 4 stroke motors for boats and watercraft that buzz around in all those resevoirs. In those cases, I am sure MTBE gets dumped right out the exhaust pipe into the water.

I was going to send them an email with information on DF-144. Maybe they will do an article on the alternatives to MTBE.
