A compaq laptop agreement is as good as say a CTX, etc. desktop agreement. CPQ moves a lot of notebooks <G>

Doesn't surprise me at all...I've said all along the the GX is a winner in the notebook/portable market. If they get to under $1000 then the GX would really dominate. Corps are tired of paying big bucks for equipment that loses 90% of it's value in 3 years.
e.g. $3000 notebooks.
