Good article. Thanks. I do think that the author makes some great points and correctly identifies some shortcomings in existing Microsoft systems. What I find ironic about the article is the title & some of its base assumptions. I believe (notice it's only my opinion) that I see more paranoid behavior from those invested in Unix than those in Microsoft. Also, the author assumes a client/server architecture that I believe will be completely obsolete over the next couple years. He also thinks he knows all options available to Microsoft & even its plan to address some very real issues that he highlights.

In spite of his bias, he doesn't resort to calling names, so he's probably not afraid that he's wrong.
