Just returned from a trip only to see AFLX down to 11. The magnitude of the drop is a surprise, although in my May 28 post I felt uneasy when the CFO said something like the next few q will be challenging. Every time this word is used, the implication is that the company is in trouble. I first read this in a book titled something like " how to read annual report", and I have been in companies using this word so many times. Indeed, as stated by the author of the book, each time the stock got killed, and each time it took years to recover. This was why I did not buy that dip around May 28.
