Thanks for the info. What does an ordinary PC user like me then really gain with these faster and faster chips. What does AMD does to make personal use computers obviously better than that of the competition? I can't work much faster anyway (I'm typing, reading, looking at images). Is there anything in AMD's pipeline that would help fast voice recognition word processing combinations, clear movie-like video for moving images (which really rudimental at this point), faster handling (editing) of large documents?
