Well, I'm finally becoming impressed with the quality of messages on this message board. At first it was all hype with little substance. Then it was all bash with little substance. Then it was the hypesters bashing the bashers and vice versa. Then everyone was calling each other names!

But the last several days have been very refreshing. For the most part, I'm reading about true due diligence that is taking place on both the hypester and basher camps. Very healthy.

Gambler and Beeblebrox should be commended for their excellent reporting of their conference call with Robert Gordon and finding out the answers to some very legitimate questions. Many others have contributed as well. Most of what Gambler and Beeblebrox posted I can confirm from my own due diligence efforts from other sources. By the way, many good sources do not like to be quoted or see their info posted on the internet. This is common on other message boards as well. You have to go by the history of the poster to determine what is real. Over time, you can determine which ones are stating facts and which ones are full of bullfeathers. Unfortunately, this board is real new, so it will take some time. You can also often get a good idea by the quality of the posts. There will be plenty of news release for us to judge by. This is a very prolific little company!

Let's see. I promised you the Consumer Reports Issue that recommended CC as one of the least expensive sources for CDs. It's an older issue than I thought, February 1996. The cover of this issue shows a bunch of CDs stacked up and reads "Best buys for music". On page 16 they talk about Bi-Coastal Industries having some of the cheapest prices available. The copy I received is from a "Distributor Package" that I requested from CC about 6-8 weeks ago. At the bottom of the page CC has stamped "Effective May 15, 1996 Bi-Coastal Ind. (BCI) has merged with Compact Connections Inc. (CCI)". Hopefully the next Consumer Reports article on buying music will include new data direct from the CC website.

Beeblebrox, your idea to request our stock certificates sounds excellent to me. I will check with a broker friend of mine and the brokerage I use (primarily Ameritrade) first thing tomorrow to see if there are any details I might be overlooking. If all looks good, I will request delivery of my shares and recommend that my investor friends do so also. If nothing else, it will be an interesting experiment and takes little effort. If you, Martin, and other are right about the MMs (and possibly some bashers that are really shorters), we could be well rewarded for our efforts. I will post here to let you know what I find out.

I am with you 100%. My shares are being ordered for all three of my accounts where I hold TSIG. You can never go wrong with having physical possession of what is yours to begin with.
