Hi Maurice....

I don't think "just in time manufacturing" is an issue here. Please note the following quote from this morning's NY Times on MOT's plans:

"Galvin was unavailable for interviews before the company's conference call with analysts, scheduled for Friday morning. In his written comments, he emphasized that the company would continue to invest in growth opportunities and singled out plans to introduce a range of new digital phones in the third quarter."

Assuming I am able in the morning, I will listen in on the MOT conference call. It certainly seems to me that Galvin is placing a *huge* bet on digital handsets for the next several quarters. If TFS can't make decent money when its major customer is playing "catch-up" with the rest of the cell phone manufacturers, I will be more surprised than any of the other "thread" participants.

We should benefit *big time*, and the "Street" will be shocked at how good the earnings will actually be. Moreover, we will get a *double* kick if the MOT phones are received with any fanfare beyond the usual promotional hype.

Last Friday, we got badly sandbagged because of a minor product delivery pushout. How will the "Street" react if we have to accelerate deliveries *now* to meet MOT's aggressive plans for the third period?

Have a good day.
