I know, I am just trying to clear up the lose ends. I had already said the more immediate competitor to Ballard is IFC-ONSI. Try: calstart.org arbis.arb.ca.gov cl >>> Until someone presents more technical information on the 'glass' PEM, I find speculating on this potential threat to Ballard immature / premature. I hope someone can help me out here, but if I recall correctly, California is leading the pack by requiring 5% of its new fleet to be ZEVs by next year. <<<<

"[California] ZEV Requirements: While meeting the fleet average requirements, each manufacturer shall certify, produce and deliver for sale in California at lest 2% ZEVs each model year from 1998 through 2000, 5% ZEVs in 2001 and 2002, and 10% ZEVs in 2003 and subsequent years" [Page 3, Final Regulation Order of Amendments to title 13, CCR, Sections 1900, 1960.1, 1976 adopted 7/24/96] CR Lum - Many thanks for the link [ arbis.arb.ca.gov ].
