All you people who like Warren Buffet should read one of the books that he recommends by Phillip Fisher. It was written in the 50s. However, it has a lot to say about MOTOROLA (yes, they existed in the 50s!) If you read that book (Common stocks for uncommon profits) and you see what he says about Motorola then and you compare it to what Motorola has been doing now you will see some very interesting similarities.

Buffett wouldn't invest in Motorola because he doesn't understand semiconductors. I recently read that Mr. Fisher still loves his Motorola and is still buying it. Even despite these short term problems.
