<BEAM... A Turnaround...
I've been buying BEAM in the low 5.00's... It appears to be a classic "buy low"candidate with lots of upside potential... New Mgmt and improving fundamentals points to higher prices in the months and years to come...>

Jim, I think that you have a winner but you may be in a little
early. It looks like it's worth waiting for.

* seven insiders have been buying shares from Dec. to the end of March at prices just under $5/share to $6.50/share.
* BEAM's strategic change focusing on attracting refracturing surgeons
is proving to be succesful. Statistics indicate that they will
be doubling the amount of physicians that are buying BEAM's products
if they keep the same market share (30%).
* consensus 5 yr. growth rate is 35%. The current PE is about 15
* If their subsidiary, Lens Express decides to offer lenses by
internet.....
* Patent litigation is now in the past.

Hambrecht and Quist recently reitirated their HOLD rating, probably due to BEAM badly missing earnings estimates for two of the last
three quaters. A positive earnings surprise would do the trick for this stock and all of the insider buying would indicate that good news is in the cards.
