bob, i bet they are doing this. technically legal, yes. so is giving stock options and buying back shares to pay employees w/o running it through the income statement. i absolutely EXPECT them to do this. you BETTER BELIEVE they will account for this program in the most favorable manner. in addition, they postpone their entry into the sub $1k market... it was an excellent strategic move for the short to medium term. postpone their entry into the death market where they can't compete, generate a little hype to boost sales and gives them the opportunity to finagle with their books.
