Sorry about that. I was trying to say RAM as required for the mobo ie do not get anything extra. I was answering two questions at once and did a lousy job. In other words yes get the ECC and no to the PC100. ( although you make good points to the contrary)

I am a little confused with 66MHz and 100MHz designations so my point was to verify the RAM requirement for the mobo you are buying.
