I asked a friend who is a gemologist if he had ever heard of moissanite... He said oh yes and a differculty they are having is distinguishing it from a diamond. His fear is that when he shops for diamonds he has no problem determining Zirconium but cannot rule out moissanite... He believes moissanite is a positive and definitely for real.... Unless hes out shopping for diamonds... For what its worth.,
