Of course on the other hand, if they decided to not put anything up until
all the chrome was fully polished on the Cadillac version, folks here
would be posting about the need for them to get a stripped down demo
version up so potential customers could at least see the base unit from
which the finished product would be launched.

If things were otherwise, we'd probably see posts like this:

"They keep promising it's going to be a great, one-stop site for revolutionizing
internation trade, but they won't show us anything. How can investors
know what they are investing in if they won't even give us a beta demo
to check out? Maybe the bears are right and this is all just a pump and
dump scheme. Give us something we can at least look at until the full
unit is ready!"

Jester and others

I agree with you and others here who haves posted that PNLK needs to do the upgrades ASAP. The possibility of customers trying the site now for two weeks and saying, "this doesn't work" and then never coming back is also very real and may do more damage then we think - especially if they talk to others.

To avoid this or pre-empt the flight of customers, I think PNLK should extend the free trial period for all customers - at least until Proxicom is able to get the major improvements on line and working correctly. This would show a true effort by the company to work with the users to make the site functional and useful. The short-term lost revenue will be more then made up for by those customers who would have left and never come back (and spread negative word of mouth publicity)who now decide to stay because they see that the company is TRULY trying to make the tool the very best that it can be.

The other thought I have is related to the restricted shares owned by insiders. I may be wrong, but I believe those shares become unrestricted in August of this year. If the management and insiders who own those shares truly want to show their committment to the long-term success of this company, they should consider a voluntary extension of the restricted period, say for another 6 months to a year as they build the subscriber base. I believe this would have a significant stabilizing effect on the price of the stock, and would attract new investors who don't have to worry about tens of millions of very low-cost shares suddently being dumped on the market. DCHT made a similar announcement this week and it helped stabilze and reverse the decline of the stock.

All my opinion only.

The best way for customer feedback is to let them use it. Then fix things as fast as you can. Remember PNLK is a pioneer. This is a new frontier. Never been done before. I see nothing wrong with their businessplan so far. It is up to Proxicom and I am sure people are working harder than they knew they could.
