Rob, CREAF is a relatively small stock on Wall St. I mean, GE is as big as the GDPs of Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia put together! And so, as we all know, Wall St being there to provide a livelihood for brokers (read: churners) why go for small fry when big fish can be grilled just as many times over (this is known as the multiplier effect in economics, just joking).

There will be no stopping CREAF once the buybacks mechanism is in place, around Q1. Remember, Singapore has officially and unequivocally said buybacks have been approved in principal. The govt here is not given to wobbly pronouncements (we still ban chewing gum, must be nearly 8 years now, even though the international ridicule was quite severe). But even before that, by end of this quarter, SB Live will be launched (in small volume). The excitement should provide a lift.

Don't underestimate Win98 and Intel's price cuts (now even earlier, and going to be more frequent). Add to the new 100MHz motherboards, improving chip market (slowly) and stabilizing drive market, and don't forget we're one quarter away from Xmas, it seems like many excuses for not buying a PC will have evaporated.
