You're right in that there are major differences in the libel laws of our countries (it would be good to hear from SIer lawyers on the exact differences) - but we do consider ourselves to be free to relate news, to comment on it, to supply our own editorial opinion at will. When some twit of a TSE bureaucrat in a fit of cowardice uses its considerable legal budget to stifle dissent among its campesinos, he is making a threat against the right to free speech of all of us. Here's a snip from the TSE website tse.com "The TSE is recognized as one of the best regulated exchanges worldwide. The focus of Market Regulation is to ensure the market operates with integrity and that all investors are treated fairly, qualities essential to investor confidence." What a ridiculous statement in light of the threat against Porter. This time Mr Fleming has attacked an SIer. That is a whole 'nother thing.
