Thanks Bachman, you worked hard. Perhaps we will still get the tour. Also, thanks for all the links.

DELL Shareholders Meeting and SI Group Gathering - Show

The dinner and show would be at Esther's Follies. It is a cabaret type entertainment: a variety show with a lot of humor, song, skits and magic. It was started by a group of local artists in the 70s and continues successfully to this day. The humor is primarily political satire with some double entendre, but nothing x-rated. I know of no one who has seen it who did not enjoy it immensely, and no one who considered it offensive (except perhaps some very serious self-important political types). The show changes periodically because the political scene changes, so we (Alison and I) try to go see it a couple of times a year.

Not only is it just a great show, the theatre is on Austin's famous 6th Street! So if you don't take the opportunity to stroll 6th Street after the show (and maybe take in some of the Austin music scene)you can people watch from the storefront windows...how is that possible?...the stage backdrop is 6th Street! In fact some of the show takes place on the street and you watch through the windows! As we say...the show is just great fun for all.

DELLish, 3.
