Dll:

IMHO your dependence on mankind for considering ideas can only limit your ability to judge truth on its own merits. Vitvan is a man who like Jesus is in an advanced spirituality. I believe he explained to you in the beginning of his article how he arrived at his interpretation. He especially asked that you study for your own truth.

There is an old saying you cannot see the forest for the trees.
What he is saying is to try to put yourself in times it was written and learn the manner of expression of the times. In other words look for possible explantions for something before accepting as allegory, symbolic or just what it says very plainly. Try to put yourself in the place of the writer.

If you are satisfied with your present concept of the bible and have no questions about your religion stick with it. I do not advocate any switching to my way of vision.

I will not address any more posts to you per your request. I wish you in turn would quit your public prayers for me. I am not lost and have no need for them. I think we would all be better off if we kept personalities separated from our religious ideas.

Although you post many bible quotes it amazes me how adroitly you refuse to give a sensible reply to pointed scripture which I question.
You are free to skip my posts if you consider them erroneous.

Don't trouble with me any more private posts. I opened my life to you only because I thought you were being serious and really wanted to know more of my thoughts on religion.
