I really don't think it's a national issue, thomas, you'll find clowns all over the planet. Agreed that your securities laws work better, one reason is that your SEC is federal while our poor excuses for regulatory agencies are provincial, both in official structure and in mindset. But just check out a few bulletin board threads over in '$5 and Under' and you'll find more than a few americano clowns. No, it's a 'free speech vs cowardly threat' issue, imho. The geographical boundaries are irrelevant to us here, we are all SIers. When one is attacked, we are all attacked. And that is something up with which we shall not put. Do they think we are made of sugar candy? We shall fight them on the threads, we shall fight them on the telephone, we shall fight them by email and by snail mail and by contact with the OSC and the PMO and maybe even the Pope.
