Actually, I thought Indian mathematicians were so good that they could just keep it all in their head, and not even bother with paper and pencil!

The Atomic scientists from various countries had a convention of some sort. Baba was also present in that convention. One supercilious atomic scientist asked Baba as to where he learnt atomic science. Without missing a beat, Prompt and pat came the reply : "Under a tree".
