I was perusing Mike Murphy's book on Tech Stock Investing. He classified Newbridge along with Nortel and Tellabs in the telecomm sector, which is apparently growing at a slower pace than the (data) networking sector with players like csco, coms, bay. Even though it is clear that the divide between telcos and networking is becoming fuzzier by the day, this could be one of the reasons why NN isnt spoken in the same breath with other "n/w" stocks.

I'm not a bit surprised NN's been misclassified and if there's any way to enlighten the analyst community, I wish someone would do it. Though, apart from public awareness, I doubt it matters.

A rose by any other name is still a rose. . .
