from macnn A report from a source close to the reseller channels points out that availability of G3 Powerbooks is still extermely limited. Orders due in this week are bhind in several cases, and ETAs for the highly sought after Powerbooks are still in the air.

This is terrible. First it was cnet, now the mac news sites are onto it. Let's forget about whether there is really a problem or not. The issue is quickly becoming a perception problem. Word is now getting out that it's hard to get a powerbook. This is bad bad bad for sales! Even if they pick up they will now have a perception that you can't get one! C'mon apple! let's go!
