Sounds to me like 3COM is trying to corner
the 3COM Networking Cards market :-)

Actually, it obvious, that if they were
still trying to clear the inventory, they
wouldn't be buying more of their own
products to make inventory bigger.

My guess, is that since it's clear they
no longer have an inventory problem, the
next step is for them to have as big
a market share as possible - and that
seems very likely if they plan things
well. So, possibly, they buy back
their older stuff, and upgrade it
to the new v.90 and eventually
charge a premium to customers
since there's nothing else left
to buy.

Is this just me thinking weird on
a late firday night, or
can this possibly be true???
