If CCSI had a product like SPRX then they would play from weak hand. Think of it, CCSI would have no FDA approval and an inferior technology. That is NOT the case.

CCSI

1. FDA approved product
2. Completed pre-production or production units
3. Superior product design
4. The top medical team in the field
5. The top deal makers
6. Last but not least: US PATENT # 5,671,735 in Darby's name (the product can't be copied)

Did you ever try to purchase business? I have. I have seen other companies that I was employed at do it as well (this isn't a purchase but it is just as important to the shareholders). Initially you have much excitement when the initial intent is signed, then there is more disclosure and it gets in with the attorneys. Attorneys may mean well, but they can break a deal at this point. It takes many months to complete a deal of this nature. The whole deal gets silent to the outside until that final closing day comes up.

If this were poker CCSI had a full house. Provided the product is manufacturable - It is! CCSI can hold out for the best deal. Future growth depends on it. Potential partners want anything to sign this deal. They to realize the potential to have the only FDA approved product on the market in the US (forgeting about international for the moment). This is as good as the patent. It can take 18-24 months or longer before there is competition. That patent may very well protect CCSI technology for 17 years!

The US patent office does not hand out patents to anyone that applies, nor does the FDA take lightly their approvals.
Anyone who was fearful of losing $$$ this week, you may want to rethink and buy back on Monday bargain prices!

While your house sale analogy is a compelling one, that's not quite how things work up here in Northern California. If you've got a hot property (which it appears that CCSI does), the buyers line up three and four deep in the wings. The house sellers around here can set their price, set their terms, and if the buyer in the first position gives them too much grief, they feel free to invite others to the party. It's outrageous to see "panic" house-buying in real time.

Don't know why CCSI's position in any deal wouldn't offer similar strength.
