Yep, it worked out that way. And when barbara sperino discovered she'd been snookered by the big boys on the TEXN "Hold for the Gold" play (they weren't holding) and spoke up about it, she was insulted and accused of "bitching" and "whining," and, when she said it was the principle of the thing she objected to, because she had put only a thousand in, she was ridiculed for the smallness of her investment. "HAHAHA," is one of the comments that sticks in my mind.

I wasn't in TEXN. I'm glad, because I would've done exactly what barbara did, fool that I am.

I'm just agreeing with you. It is a scam. Thanks for going on record with that.

Edit: I mentioned on the Cafe thread that it was my impression that Copia and Gore didn't do that business of urging others to buy while they were selling.

Joe, you said, I feel this united effort stuff is a scam in itself.
Not sure what you are saying here. The original idea was born out of frustration with MMs having their way so often, mostly because there were so many internet picks and a rapidly decreasing amount of investors following each pick.

Personally I was losing too often. However, I do agree that it does not seem to help with more investors either. I lost even more this week than in the past. Perhaps it was the picks, the MMs or the moon. I do not know.

But being careful not to throw the baby out with the bath water, look what the effort has acheived. Tokyo Big Dog and all others are getting along. The picks are not being trashed, shorted, etc.

The feeling of unity may be worth more than the unity itself.
