I just spoke to my reseller. They are getting in 3 G3 PBs on Monday, their first delivery. They ordered the lower priced models, but are disappointed to realize that the customer doesn't get all the real "goodies" for models under $3700, referring specifically to the lack of "backside cache". They report that the quality of the screen in the cheaper models doesn't even match the 1400. They feel that the advertising is a bit misleading. This is not good to hear, however, they did add that when you get to the $3700 model that nothing can touch it for speed, screen - you name it. They're very high on these $3700 models.

>If they sell 100,000 PBs in the quarter @ a net price of $2,000 each
>that is 2 billion in revs, + desktops.

You have one too many 0's. 100K * 2K = 200M, not 2000M.

It's $200,000,000 (that is, two hundred million)
