If nothing else, I'd consider it a pretty strong indication that you don't know NEARLY enough about the people you're doing business with.

Actually, a source of lingering confusion for me. Because of Dimples, one would think that the CEO would be especially sensitive, checking the CVs of employees and the bona fides of the companies allied with to a fare the well.
