Are you twister by chance? The reason I ask this is that he is one of the people that is pushing NT on a SUN thread.

Like I have said to other posters that thinks NT is going to replace UNIX. NT is a hobby system and that's about as much as I care to say about it.

Here is a article about Not There in case you've missed it.

ANTI-TREND: NT SERVER DOESN'T TAKE OVER THE ENTERPRISE.

A recent IDC survey of information technology officers suggests why. NT has grown by replacing Unix as a file, print, and application server. But ITOs still prefer Unix for critical, custom-developed enterprise applications, because such applications are unusually demanding. NT Server 4.0 (which Microsoft, somewhat wistfully, calls the Enterprise Edition) does not meet the demands: it is only 32 bit, cannot support more than ten processors, doesn't work well with non-Windows computers, and cannot scale to thousands of simultaneous users. (For more on three-tier computing, see "Being Digital.")

When I think about it why would MS want to make a quality product since it will cut off its upgrade cycle.
