I see what you're saying, I think. Just to get oriented,
there are two pairs of graphs in my single cpu system,
the top pair is cpu, the bottom pair is memory. Forget
memory for the moment.

The cpu pair consists of a vertical bar histogram showing
current cpu on the left, and a history line chart on the
right showing cpu history for the past minute or two.

Now that you call my attention to it, there are two bars
in the histogram which always move in tandem. I would suppose
if there were two cpus, they would move separately, and there
would probably be two lines on the line chart (or do you
see two separate line charts to the right of the histogram?).

The memory chart is organized identically. Two cpus share
memory, though, right? Even so, each would have its separate
allocation, I suppose. You can see how little I know about
it (my multiple cpu experience is on loosely coupled
systems where processors do not share memory).
