Kev,

Look for Nortel to do a deal with Netscape at Supercomm. Talks have been ongoing and an alliance between BCE (Nortel's 51% owner) and Netscape happened about 3 months ago. I would not be surprised to see them buy Bay as well. It is my belief that they are trying to make a definitive move on the data side prior to Lucent being allowed to move forward with Pooling of Interests. BAY/Netscape/Nortel will be quite formidable if this gets done.

I think BAY is a better match than ascend, and bay is now implementing some of Netscape's technology at Ford.

Unfortunately, I do not think that this press release has anything to do with WESTELL. However, I think we will get some clarification on WSTL's future at Supercomm.

Any thoughts.

Frank

PS. I sold a pile of my WSTL and bought a large position in out of the money BAY calls.
