Excellent points on cases, cabling, etc. It can be very difficult to find one that doesn't ask for too many compromises.

I'm leaning towards the elan vital T-10AB cases (made by Asus) with the Asus boards. They're literally made for the boards, and have lots of nice features. A full manual is available at elanvital.com.tw, which sometimes is a bit slow to load.

Cases and Cables

Now you are starting to understand some of the issues I was addressing awhile back. Add to this, troubleshooting ease when you really need to be up and running.

Full tower, side access with side door, good internal design, front bay slides. As to DATA cables and length, you'll find making your own almost a must if you have multi SCSI drives. Key is staying within max length spec and planning HD layout.
