no one likes to hear a prediction that their stock might go down.. I think it's just one of those things that you have to be careful how you word stuff .. especially on such a heavily watched thread.. I think it's interesting that one would have a thought: "I think if no news comes out we'll probably go under $1.00" but then forget to add "However, if news comes out I think we'll go up"... that would be the logical follow up to your thinking.. If one basis whether a stock will rise or fall on the timing of news, then they aren't focusing on the longevity of the investment.. instead what this does is signal panic to those who trade emotionally. I know you meant well and were simply making a predicion.. which COULD come true... no one has a crystal ball... it'd be nice to be able to post a prediction one way or the other without malice of course, and not have to worry about getting flamed if you give the wrong prediction... however, people just don't see it that way.. it seems to me that sometimes the ONLY people that are allowed to give negative or cautious posts are those who have done plenty of DD and are respected and thus hold credibility with the readers.. if some new person shows up tonight and says, "I think we'll go down a bit next week before we see any real gains on ICVI"... he'd probably get flamed.. now if Macker or Mr D showed up and said the exact same thing.. they'd probably NOT get any flames at all... some would say, "Macker or Mr. D ; why do you think that? How far do you think it'll dip and should we pick up more" or they might say, "Thanks for your honesty.. I'm long so I'll be buying on dips".. Why is this?? Because they have earned the respect from the majority of the people and somehow when these guys say something.. we value it and trust it... if even it's not the thing we wanna hear.. with that said, I don't have an answer for why this seems to be this way... but it just is... hope this makes sense.. and you of course are welcome here with your comments .. good or bad.. as long as it's done with respect and tactfulness.. people are gonna differ on investment strategies and speculation all the time... we just have to do the best we can to get along.. I've recently by some of the naysayers that "you don't make friends online when it comes to trading stocks.. you're money is what matters.. not friendships".. well, that's truly a sad post.. I have 1,600+ people that I and just a VERY FEW other people work to supply good info for to the readers of TOP DOG.. we do it for free and none of us is financially secure.. I have more debt than I have invested in stocks.. basically live paycheck to paycheck.. am I in this for the money.. sure I'd like to make some cash.. but as a Christian I don't think I'd be able to respect myself if I made money by stepping on 1,600+ people to do it... I want us all to win.. unfortunately we can't... but even so.. that's my goal.. and those who continue to bash me on other threads can say what they want.. my whole life has been about Phillipians 4:13 and I'll maintain that til I die.. Hoping we all can act like mature adults here.. (I'm no saint.. I too get upset online from time to time) but let's do our best to do the right thing.. hang in there Jules.. if you're of good character.. people will see it.. eventually jim
